Position: Research Manager

Location: New York, NY

buzzback is seeking Research Manager to help meet increased demands of our business as a result of strong growth. This position is involved in the entire research process at buzzback from proposal to report. Research Managers are teamed with Sr. Managers & Directors, who are responsible for prospecting, client relationship management and research design.    

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the research team to seamlessly execute research projects
  • Questionnaire writing with minimal oversight from Sr. Managers & Directors infusing outside the box thinking to address each clients’ unique needs
  • Complete ownership of the internal management of the project process once qnrs have been signed off. Managing analysts throughout the process and interacting with operations and programming teams
  • Championing analytic plans and report creation to align with the learning needs of the project to answer our clients’ business questions
  • Build impactful, visually engaging and easy-to-understand reports and presentations to drive action with minimal oversight
  • Work across functional groups, helping foster a collaborative work environment that move the organization forward
  • Supporting Sr. Managers & Directors on debriefing results
  • Advising and mentoring junior staff on best practices and career/skill development

Qualifications – Successful candidates possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MA/MBA and/or professional training a plus
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in market research agencies
  • Strong preference for candidates who also have a familiarity and comfort with various methodologies in the innovation space
  • Strong attention to detail, comfort in fast-paced environment, and a team player attitude

This position is based in New York City. We regret that we cannot pay for relocation expenses.
