Controller

Location: Ideal Candidate is in NY area, but not required.

Location: This position is ideally in the NY area, but not required.

Buzzback is a seeking a controller to work directly with the CEO on day-to-day financial oversight and management of financial activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversight of day-to-day financial tasks including AR, AP, and cash flow for US & UK offices
• New client setup/onboarding
• Banking activity as it relates to day-to-day – bank recs, etc.
• Posting of payroll to QuickBooks [outside PEO]
• Liaison & preparation of UK finances, including liaison with UK accounting firm

• Present leadership team with monthly financial reports: quarterly sales commissions, quarterly consolidated financials
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly including project & customer profitability
• Demonstrates leadership & action beyond formal job responsibilities

Qualifications – Successful candidates possess:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, CPA a plus
• Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required
• Experience with both services/consulting and Saas business models, including revenue generation & profitability analysis
• Experience in marketing or research sector a plus
• Strong preference for candidates with accounting background, especially in tech or marketing
• Ability to work in dynamic environment
